Today is 1 year since we sent the application for what later became CO2Vision

On 23 November 2021, Michale Stie Laugesen, project manager at Green Hub Denmark, and Luise Linnemann Rasmussen, development director at Erhvervshus Nordjylland, printed off the application for the North Jutland business lighthouse, which in the meantime has been named CO2Vision.

The work with CO2 capture, use and storage across professions and sectors in the whole of North Jutland has gotten off to a good start.

  • Behind CO2Vision stands a broad partnership of over 50 companies, organisations, educational and research institutions and business promotion actors.
  • CO2Vision has provisionally received DKK 92.4 million. kroner from Denmark's Business Promotion Board, which will be paid out by June 2023. 16 billion have been allocated to CCUS.
  • The funds strengthen the possibilities of the North Jutland business community to participate in the CCUS value chain and upgrade the skills of the workforce in the area. This is done, among other things, through internship and project courses, tailored competence development and a focus on international labour.
  • Behind the vision stands: Green Hub Denmark, Erhvervshus Nordjylland, Aalborg University, Aalborg Portland, Arbejdsmarkedkontor Midt/Nord, Energy Cluster Denmark and Business Region North Denmark.
